Sponsoring a British seed in the Millennium Seed Bank is a very special way to celebrate the life of a loved one and help preserve our native species.  Your dedication will be recorded at the Millennium Seed Bank at Wakehurst Place, and you will receive information on the species sponsored.  You will also be invited to an exclusive event. 

Conservation of the UK native flora is just one of the objectives of the Millennium Seed Bank, which aims to safeguard 24,000 threatened plant species from around the world.  Seeds are brought to the Millennium Seed Bank to be carefully sorted, cleaned and dried.  They are then banked in the walk-in freezer rooms at minus 20°C to keep them safe for hundreds of years as insurance against loss in the wild.

Seeds are available for sponsorship of £500 each.
